Direct answer
Solarpunk should be treated as a limited handcrafted-islands game, not a giant endless open world. That means this page will help you understand the island structure and how exploration fits progression, but it will not publish unverified coordinates, full map pins, or a fake “complete map.”
Interactive map status
There is still no official first-party interactive map linked from the official storefronts or publisher pages checked on July 15, 2026. Until a reliable official map exists, use this page to understand exploration gates and what claims are safe, not as a coordinate atlas.
A community map can be useful as a lead, but exact coordinates, resource pins, and spawn assumptions should be checked against your current build before they are treated as instructions.
What is verified about the islands
Current official and publisher-facing sources support these points:
- Solarpunk uses handcrafted floating islands
- the game is not built around endless world discovery
- the world design is intentionally focused rather than huge
- exploration becomes more useful once the Airship route opens up access
What is not verified here
Do not use this page to claim:
- exact island coordinates
- a full map overlay
- a complete resource atlas
- exact island spawn order
- guaranteed resource respawn timing
Those would need direct gameplay verification or better first-party proof.
How to explore safely
- treat each island trip as a purpose-built resource run
- unlock or upgrade your Airship before assuming farther islands are reachable
- bring inventory room for what you actually need
- use the Beginner Guide and Airship pages before hunting a specific island layout
- if you want exact resource locations, check the relevant resource guide instead of expecting a master map here

How to use the current community map
A current community interactive map now claims 16 islands grouped into starter, temperate, and winter categories, with markers extracted from the released build. That is useful for route planning, but it is still a community database, not an official in-game atlas maintained by Cyberwave.
Use that evidence this way:
